Thanks Drew, if it can't be changed, we are still happy with the white....
We had our island side panels changed over because they forgot to do the profile shaker on them.

I think in this case it’s more about whether M agree they made the mistake. There is vague wording on our colour selection docs regarding the island bench. I questioned it at the time but was told it was the wording they used for the kitchen team. Hopefully they change it. Re: Building a Metricon Glendale 42 Limited Edition in Melbo 343Jun 13, 2019 11:25 am M have agreed to change both the oven cavity (remove the lower panel and change the kickers), and change the entire island bench so that it has the correct colours, as per our Studio M selections. There was some ambiguity with the wording our colour consultant used on the Selection Docs, but they have agreed to make the change. Dealing with the Construction Team so far has been sooooo much easier than dealing with Admin! EPS cladding has been installed to 2nd storey this week, so I am sure the lockup invoice is not far away. Staircase is going in this week, which I can't wait to see. The only issue that has not been resolved yet is a damaged hose at the rear of the house. It sprays water out along the slab every time the mains are turned on. Unfortunately, this means for the past 2 weeks I have been driving past the site every night after work, or afternoon after school pick up, to ensure mains are turned off by trades at end of day. Getting worried about any damage under slab if this continues. Although it is only a spray, but have been waiting 2 weeks to get it fixed.... We head overseas in about 10 days, so really want it fixed before then. Why were your panels replaced? Re: Building a Metricon Glendale 42 Limited Edition in Melbo 347Jun 14, 2019 9:48 pm Wow!!! You have moved so far ahead of us... It looks great, you must be so pleased. We’ve made no progress really since I last commented. Almost finished the bricks but the upstairs is still just an empty frame without windows. No plaster downstairs. As it turns out we’ve swapped site supervisors with Macher, which hopefully will work out better for both of us! I don’t have my own thread but happy to PM updates if you are happy to receive them Re: Building a Metricon Glendale 42 Limited Edition in Melbo 348Jun 14, 2019 10:09 pm [quote="Kate3079":2pr4cmgx][quote="shokel1975":2pr4cmgx]Today we have stairs... Today we had the first coat of rendering done upstairs and stair balustrade installed. Building a Metricon Glendale 42 Limited Edition in Melbourne 351Jun 15, 2019 10:03 pm Black Japan. All steps will be stained too as we are not carpeting the stairs. Re: Building a Metricon Glendale 42 Limited Edition in Melbo 352Jun 15, 2019 11:15 pm Becarful of what stains u get from M. I know several people that got the same strain and M has stuffed it up. If you like the ones in the display homes make sure they ONLY do on coat of it. If they do 2 coats then it will become black and you can't see the patterns of the timber. Building a Metricon Glendale 42 Limited Edition in Melbourne 355Jun 21, 2019 10:49 am Build is still progressing really well. Despite our SS going on leave and not even telling us! He’s not a great one for communication unfortunately, but as long as our build is going so well we are not complaining. We are heading overseas ourselves next week for 10 days, so looking forward to hopefully seeing the scaffolding down by the time we return, giving us a good look at the exterior. For now though the stone benches have been installed throughout the house.... Looks nice! Kitchen, Butlers, Laundry and Powder are Gris Expo. Two upstairs bathrooms are White Storm. 😀 Re: Building a Metricon Glendale 42 Limited Edition in Melbo 358Jun 22, 2019 10:34 pm Love the kitchen colour scheme!!
