Here is a link about posting photo's: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=3466 Jo Slab complete 24Oct 31, 2008 5:32 pm Well, we have our slab! It looks pretty good to the non-builders eye! Our neighbours were quite impressed compared to the state their slab and block was when they were at this stage with another builder.
The timber has been delivered and hopefully the frame will go up net week. I still haven't figured out how to upload photos. I went today to enquire about the curtains and blinds that I want to be told it would be about $8000. Back to the drawing / planning board on that one because I didn't have that much in the budget. What do they say? champagne taste, beer budget. If anyone can recommend anyone for blinds in the Western Suburbs I am open to suggestions. Re: window coverings, we had quotes from different suppliers and one of them is Home Outlet in Hoppers Crossing (for blinds). IF you want curtains though, I know someone who does nice curtains in the West. PM me if you want his details. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Built the Nevada 42 Next project - landscaping! There is a thread on how to upload photos, it's really easy to do. Cant wait to see some photos. What type of window finishing are you getting? There is a website called www.iseekblinds.com.au where you can order it online and install it yourself. Might save you a lot of money if you are handy. Our site supervisor has been great, things fixed as needed and communication is good 3. We are getting close to our walk through and therefore closer to moving in 4. I LOVE the house... the bricks are fab, the painting is fantastic, the tiles look brilliant, cabinets are great. 5. I love it, I love it, I love it!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy... I was talking to our SS last week and told him I keep waiting for something to go wrong. don't get me wrong there have been little things along the way but they have been fixed as they happen. Even my dear hubby, is happy. I still don't know how to do photos! I hope this updates all and I am sorry for not keeping up to date. photos 30Feb 28, 2009 9:32 am Hi
I can't find a link or thread for uploading photos. If anyone can help! Re: OurPagoda32 31Feb 28, 2009 10:56 am Hi
Glad to know that things are running smoothly with your build! Yes, we would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see some photos. There use to be a thread on how to upload photos, but I cant seem to find it. Can someone help? This is how I do it. You need to make an account with www.photobucket.com Once you're a member you can upload photos onto your account. Once the photo is uploaded, if you put your mouse on the photo, 4 options will come up on how to put photos on blogs/threads/forums etc. Choose the 4th option, copy it. Then come back to this thread and paste it. Thats all you have to do. GIve it a go! We went by the house last night and the tiling is done (looks fantastic), the stone benches are in (love them), the basin is in the bathroom (love that too) and I LOVE the bathroom feature tiles. I don't have photos of those things but will try and get some this week...

Although, I still can't imagine us living there, when we look at the house it feels like home already. My Dad is building some Merbu (or ModWood I just have to go and have a look at it) gates for the sides. I have arranged for the concreting, tanks, some blinds and FOXTEL for late April/May. They can all be bought forward if needed!
I bet you can't wait until Friday. I will go and find your thread and see how your journey has been. Will post more (and reduced size) photos soon. Re: OurPagoda32 36Mar 01, 2009 3:34 pm Salt and Peppa,
How come you never share any photos of your house build with us? We recently finished building and have a heap of pictures to share. You ALWAYS ask for peoples pictures but never share your own. Are you like an idea stealer / internet stalker or something? j/k OurHouseonHighgrove, A beautiful home! I bet you cant wait to be finished? Re: OurPagoda32 37Mar 01, 2009 4:19 pm Building with CH, it seems kinda odd that your first post is about CH, and from Dale's comment, I find it quite suspicious -are you from CH or something? And no, I'm not an idea stealer nor am I an internet stalker! Anyway I will be posting photos soon, and I do know it is a bit unfair. But soon..

I have never posted photos until today because I didn't know how. I have tried many times but have never succeeded. Glad you liked the pics. Re: OurPagoda32 39Mar 01, 2009 4:58 pm Have you got a handover date? Your start was 16/10? And your build was that quick! Good luck with the rest of the build. Congrats on getting the photos up! About time too Its certainly not the easiest of processes and we appreciate you taking the time to learn how ... Its such an important part of the sharing process and lets face it we are all 'pic piggies' and any sharing is appreciated. @Building with CH As much as I agree with your sentiment your comments are a little off topic. Perhaps an introduction in the forum might help quell suspicions. @Salt and Pepper Look forward to sharing your photos with everyone else on the forum. |
