Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Mar 13, 2021 9:36 pm Hi All, We got our first working diagrams recently at the same time our planning permit was approved by the council. Just noticed we are missing eaves to the right of the garage and I didn’t pick this in the preliminary plans that was submitted to the council for planning permit approval. The distance between the outer garage wall to the allotment boundary is 1200mm, my questions are, 1) Is it possible to include 450mm eaves to the right of the garage ? The current plan has a mix of 600/450mm eaves around except for the side to the garage. 2) if eaves can be added, do I need to go to council with amended planning permit or this can be accommodated with the building permit ? The setback may be 1200mm which would be why there are no eaves on that side. I had a similar issue with my fridge not too long ago. It wasn't the same model, but the symptoms were pretty much the same: the compressor would start and then stop… 3 7515 Okay sorry silly me, my wife has solves the mystery for me. It’s because the labels on the ports are all wrongly positioned by the builder hence it confuses me. 2 1372 Update from me! Couldn't find the trimmer - not sure if there isn't one simply because the eave is so narrow. Went ahead with the spring toggles and it all worked out… 7 5832 |
