It's meant to be 3m wide so 5 full tiles @ 600mm. My guess would be maybe he has 800mm tiles? Good guess! Yes, the tiles are larger. They are 750mm x 750mm to be precise Corfu gris glazed polished 750mmx750mm NY 16-6321FL Re: Our Bordeaux 56 Build in Sydney 69Jan 22, 2019 11:38 pm nvl93 Hi Rajat, Thanks for that. We're in the final stages of tender for request and and we ended up with an estimate of a whopping $1,045,941 haha. That included the spiral staircase (58k), Hebel floor (24k), balcony (30k), changes to floor plan (15k) and heaps more. Yeah our consultant is pushing to put an authority through for the display door to be included as standard in our build. Hopefully it goes through! Anyways i will be following your build and wish you the best. Any update on your 56a build ? Are you able to share your 2D plans ? I am looking to build the 56a in Brisbane There really hasn’t been any update since early December. Only the front door handle and locks have been installed. I think the tradies are only now coming back to work so hopefully there will be some profress in the coming weeks. Our plan is Bordeaux56, rather than Bordeaux56a. The names are similar, but the plans are completely different. The 56A has the spiral stairs in the middle of the house, which completely changes the plans. Below are the standard Bordeaux 56 and 56a plans respectively from Metricon website. Thanks for this. Yes I have these off the website, but I noticed someone in the thread was starting a 56A build. I am looking at building the 56A in Brisbane. My family are in the building industry and Metricon won't release the 56A plans, so I was wondering if anyone had the standard plans so I could see window opening measurements etc. What I was thinking was getting Metricon to build to lock up stage and then have my family business fitout after that...not sure if they will do that but those are my thoughts. Your house looks amazing ! I am just trying to do my build for as little cost possible but still have the amazing Bordeaux 56A design Re: Our Bordeaux 56 Build in Sydney 72Mar 01, 2019 1:15 pm Hi Rajat, You might want to check your inclusions list as I noticed your front entry frame does not have the aluminium enviroseal on the bottom. This will stop the draft getting in. I had the same issue and made them replace the frame after handover. Re: Our Bordeaux 56 Build in Sydney 73Mar 01, 2019 6:19 pm Re: Our Bordeaux 56 Build in Sydney 75Dec 07, 2019 1:22 pm Handed over from Metricon....finally
We are busy doing the landscaping.....waiting for council to approve some retaining wall plans, but we are going to move in next week. Just finished driveway last month. Will share new pics shortly.... Metricon took sooooo long to handover....House inspect (private inspector that we hired) found lots of things to be fixed, which took some time to fix. Another month or so delayed because Metricon couldn't get the correct size ducting for the exhaust for the gas cooktop. Anyway, all handed over now Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Our Bordeaux 56 Build in Sydney 76Dec 07, 2019 1:30 pm vuster Hi Rajat, You might want to check your inclusions list as I noticed your front entry frame does not have the aluminium enviroseal on the bottom.
