Soil test came back as M with Certified Controlled fill with N3 wind rating.
They hit rock at 1.2mt towards the back and we were worried that they may hit it while doing the pool which appears to have been okay.

Oh wow Amish!! looks great, and huge!! So exciting seeing it begin. That doesn't sound so good about the down pipes not being where the plans say they should and esp not good about the one where the hot water will go. Have you brought it up with your ss?
Love the aerial shot you have there to btw

Spoke with our SS and he's advised that the plumber core drills out the HWS drainage.... As for the downpipes, if they need realigning, they'll be done, but currently within tolerance and will be reviewed and changed once brickwork is up.
Two things that were a good outcome was, seems there is no base for the pool equipment.... he's going to follow it up.
Also, he's on the case on getting the contractor to fix up the damage done to the other blocks when the cut and fill was done, so developer can rest a bit easier
Frame gets delivered on Monday!

Visually, not a lot has changed. FRAME stage completed with roof battens on this arvo (as i was leaving just after lunch). Gutters were also up. Wall wrap also needs to be completed.
Completed on-site consult with the sparky, so just waiting to see how much i cry when the quote comes through lol.
Paid the insulation contractors to up the ceiling value and put some extra insulation from bradford in; external (pink) R2.0 144.332m2 | soundscreen (blue) R2.0 75.336m2 | internal (orange) R1.5 63.074m2 | ceiling R4.1 302.63m2 Came to just under $3k delivered and installed.
Independent audit came back today with no minor or major defects for the stage as well. Now off to the bank to pay FRAME stage lol.

So, on having an issue with the electricians admin team for the rough in leaving it until the last minute, it appears to be resolved
*Thermofoil Install - complete
* Roof - complete
* Solar Panels - complete
* Electrical rough in - complete
* Wall insulation - complete
* Plumbing rough in - complete
* Air Con rough in - complete
A few minor issues with the frame, but the site supervisor is pretty good and got it resolved pretty quickly.
The only issue, was the skylight was installed in the wrong spot and in-part, over a roof truss. They've said that they are going to come back and shift it over a little to correct.
Apart from that, the only issue that is outstanding at the moment is a small tear in the thermofoil due to the toilet vent being put in. I'm confident that it'll get fixed though.
Next stages is, gyprock starts tomorrow.
There was a delay due to personal reasons with the brickie, but they'll start work this Friday/Monday.

Great to see your powering enough Amish. Great work with all the extra insulation we have done the same and it’s something we will never regret. You have a really interesting roof pitch too, it looks great. Hope the brickie and gyprockers are on site soon
