Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Feb 27, 2018 12:10 pm Hi, We are building our first house and we have PCI this week. Just wondering what we need to look for? We've checked the house today and it's dirty inside, dusty and all that. Is it supposed to be clean? Is the outside supposed to be clean too with no leftover pieces of wood, etc? And are things like water tank and aircon unit and mailbox supposed to be installed by PCI or are they installed after handover? I know the appliances and carpet are after handover, but wasn't sure if that stuff should be before? And finally, if we're not satisfied with PCI, do I sign paperwork or do I wait for them to fix it? I've read here that we shouldn't pay if things haven't been completed, but what about signing anything on the day? Thanks everyone!
