Browse Forums Building A New House Re: KDR - Allcastle Homes Grandworth 45 MK2 361Feb 01, 2020 2:06 pm Confirmed this week there is not internal color section pack and everything will be done in the head office on the color selection day together with the electrical selection. Re: KDR - Allcastle Homes Grandworth 45 MK2 362Feb 01, 2020 2:08 pm Anyone has any suggestion for the electrical selection to save some money? I heard it will cost a fortune to do. We want downlight for the entire ground floor. I understand we have to get ACH to do but upstairs can be done by our own electrician, who is much cheaper. Re: KDR - Allcastle Homes Grandworth 45 MK2 364Feb 01, 2020 2:26 pm It is quite tricky to tell what is standard and what is upgrade. We have the grandworth inclusions to start with (some people might start with easy build inclusions) , plus the winter warmer, which provides a few free upgrades. Our seleciton is booked at the end of Feb. CYNNAV shirleyhelj Thank you cyn, when is your internal color section meeting ? You are welcome, Shirley. We are yet to book the appointment. Hopefully will book early next week. Re: KDR - Allcastle Homes Grandworth 45 MK2 365Feb 20, 2020 10:45 pm We finally did the internal color selection today and the whole process is quite pleasing (yummy lunch supplied). All internal color done within 4 hours for 2 houses and we almost upgraded half of the lists! Not many options you can choose from but we found most of the upgrade items pricing are quite reasonable. Happy to help with anyone that has questions--feeling we are half an expert now LOL Re: KDR - Allcastle Homes Grandworth 45 MK2 366Feb 21, 2020 12:01 am shirleyhelj We finally did the internal color selection today and the whole process is quite pleasing (yummy lunch supplied). I had 60 plus power pts a, lan ports , down lights through and through , came less than $20k .. It’s not a lot but all adds up in the end . Re: KDR - Allcastle Homes Grandworth 45 MK2 370Feb 21, 2020 3:38 pm 60 plus power point? I actually found the power point price quite reasonable at $69 to $79 each. But the prewire LED cost is so ridiculous. Mojitostan shirleyhelj Anyone has any suggestion for the electrical selection to save some money? I heard it will cost a fortune to do. After your sign the contract (but not yet start the construction as DA not yet submitted), there is no credit back for any variation. For example, if you delete an wanted door, there is no more credit back. Has anyone experienced this recently? Hi we are looking to talk to people who have built with them recently. We have signed mid range built contract but identified that a lot of things are not included.… 0 639 Hi, I am looking into doing a KDR in Melbourne and am contemplating using Kialla Homes. I am looking for feedback on them from others who have built with them. 0 13301 |
