Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Feb 12, 2018 10:31 pm Hi everyone, my wife and I are getting close to finalising our exterior selections with our first custom build with Steve Parcell. I have done up some exterior drawings with Sketchup and have scrounged around for the different bricks and linea textures/colours we like, but I'm not sure whether these look "real" enough to make a call on? My concern also is i've seen wintergold look quite yellow, not sure if I like the look, and saving some $ on the decowood garage vs colorbond. The pictures might be leading us astray, so we're looking for some feedback or pics from people with similar selections? The perisher brick is our "safe" option. Anyway, very keen for any people with similar selections or insights. Sunlight seems to make a big difference, so not sure if the woodland grey and surfmist will all just look bright white anway. The front aspect of the house is South facing, Garage door is East. If anyone else has any suggestions, doesn't take long to mock it up and see what it looks like here. Cheers, Matt How much are you ahead in payments compared to where the build is at? Have you fully drawn down the loan? 5 11916 I'd get the gutters to match your roof and pipes to match the paint - otherwise they become a feature. Nice pick with the paint colours! 1 34269 hi guys.
