Thanks. PCI on Monday. It will be a little sad moving from Narangba as we brought our boys up here, but I will still be working at the high school. Re: Coral Homes - Grange 25 (Newport) 265Jul 19, 2018 7:45 am icat2000 All the best with your handover. Your house looks great. Thanks. Hubby was there yesterday and he said that from the outside it looked like all the little jobs had been finished and it looked very clean. He didn't even want to walk on the outside tiles. Can't wait to peek through the windows on the weekend. Re: Coral Homes - Grange 25 (Newport) 266Jul 21, 2018 5:00 pm PCI on Monday. Can't wait. Getting a bit nervous now. Is your PCI still tomorrow too? Should be exciting. Nope. Found out earlier in the week that it has to change to Thursday as the shower screen guy canβt get there until Tuesday. Went yesterday. carpet had half been cut. Mirrors in bathrooms still to go, and the sliders for the robes. Works out for us though because our personal inspector was due to go on wed, so at least we will have his report before we do our walk through, not expecting him to find anything serious. Knock on wood Excited to hear about yours! Hope you can get some sleep Re: Coral Homes - Grange 25 (Newport) 272Jul 23, 2018 7:16 am CC7 bestspecials CC7 good luck! sounds like you will have no dramas Thanks. Is your PCI still tomorrow too? SS has been very thorough the whole way through, so any problems had already been fixed. There was only 1 downlight missing, a bit of missed silicon,a final clean and for some reason the aircon didn't want to work. SS made all the phone calls to the trades while we were there and looks like Handover will be 5 days early on Friday 27 July. If Coral aren't doing your driveway, and you have rendered walls next to the driveway, they need to do a termite barrier between the driveway and the rendered walls as termites can eat through render. Nasty little buggars. Got a quote today from the pest people who did the house and around $240. We spent close to 2 years in a process with TA. It was horrible..... we got to tender, and the first cut was 50% over our budget which "they care such about meeting ".
