I'm not even sure when the tiling actually gets done, so not worried. We are hoping it will be finished by mid to late July, so heaps of time for tiling. If they get too delayed, maybe they will paint it first. Who knows?

I would imagine it would be ideal to paint after tiling so paint doesn’t get on them I can’t even remember if people get their stone in before tiling or not haha. Although they could start painting bedrooms Re: Coral Homes - Grange 25 (Newport) 164Jun 01, 2018 10:50 am symone We painted then tiled. Stone was put in before painting. I think it all just depends on availabilities of trades Definitely like the idea of painting first, then you don't have to worry too much with overspray on the tiles. Re: Coral Homes - Grange 25 (Newport) 165Jun 01, 2018 10:21 pm Ours was kitchen, stone, tiling and now painting. And they would only do it in that order our stone was delayed which put it all back and then our tiling took longer and the painter wouldn’t start until the tiler was done. I think other builders could be different though. Re: Coral Homes - Grange 25 (Newport) 166Jun 03, 2018 2:08 pm 8 weeks in - They have finished the facade.

Great progress Re: Coral Homes - Grange 25 (Newport) 171Jun 05, 2018 9:28 am Dylandbrooke LOVE your facade!!! 😍😍😍 that wood looks amazing!!! I think for a narrow house, the facade makes it look a little wider. Re: Coral Homes - Grange 25 (Newport) 173Jun 05, 2018 8:54 pm yay downpipes!! does garage door mean lock out? Yay!! it's going to be strange going to the house and not being able to walk through haha YAY for tiles!! I went to Beaumonts after a much needed massage this afternoon, confirmed the grout that was on the wall display was what we picked, and I'm so excited to see it come to life in our kitchen Can't wait to see your bathrooms and kitchen come together too. Have they waterproofed yet? Re: Coral Homes - Grange 25 (Newport) 179Jun 06, 2018 9:08 pm CC7 bestspecials CC7 Can't believe it's at the stage already. Have they waterproofed yet? Yes, we are waterproofed and bathroom and laundry cabinets are in. I am hoping that the cabinet colour works with the feature tile the way I hope it will. We went with National Tiles. I can't remember what colour I chose for the floor grout, but it was something that matched at the time. I think it might be nice to get a bit of a surprise from now on. I just went back to jog my memory. i think it will look nice! Is the feature wall going behind the vanity? We would have loved to have done feature. Our floor tile will be a darker grey, and our benchtop is Urban. So i feel like they are similar colours as your feature/cabinet colours just jumbled around a bit in ours. I'm worried about how they will look with mine though, pure white walls, and white cabinets. Hoping we shouldn't have done a woodgrain look. Ours may look too plain and boring. Would have loved a white bench top, but we upgraded in the kitchen so decided to stick with standard else where. Our white tiles are like STARK white, so i was worried the standard white ceaserstone would look weird with the walls time will tell! You are right, it's all going to be a surprise, can't wait.
