I know this thread hadn't been going long enough for anyone to be too invested but I thought you'd all like to know why there's going to be no more updates for a long time
I am so sorry to hear your news Nublette, it is devastating when the rug is ripped out from under you and it’s no fault of your own.
We had a similar experience early on with Coral before speaking with bold and after paying a deposit and a $5k travel allowance they then decided they don’t build in our area. Load of crap.
I do have to agree with Sparrownest about G&P I spoke to the boys there and they are fantastic, they also build beautiful homes.
Can I ask what your soil classification came back as? As you know we are down in the country from you only 45 mins away and we got a high grade H2 classification, our site costs where by far the best I had seen from coral and Metricon. Please see the attached costings from our contract, I’m happy to share this as I would love to see a great outcome for you.

I know it’s hard to brush it off and jump straight back on the ban wagon but honestly do it, the quicker you find another plan and builder your happy with the quicker you can get your home started.
I will recommend you go and have a chat to Bold, there display at Ripley is manned by James and he is a lovely, honest and considerate man. Tell him the lady with 5 kids sent you and he will laugh . Bold and James seriously bent over backwards to accommodate us.
