Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Nov 21, 2018 7:16 am We got our soil test results back yesterday 20/11/2018 We were quoted for a H1 soil type slab, but the soil came back as M, so one better. Wondering if this will mean a little less $ for the slab? Our wind rating is N1, as quoted. We are really keen to book in with coral and finalise our plans for the contract. Will this be at Corals direction or can we request an appt now that our soil and surveys have been done? Re: Soil test results 2Nov 21, 2018 7:18 am Congrats on your results. Just ring your sales consultant and book a time to finalise the plans. Re: Soil test results 3Nov 21, 2018 9:13 am Just out of curiosity may I ask what region is your block situated? We had ours done last week and it came back yesterday also. We were quoted with a H2 rated slab in mind by our builder and our results came back as M also (most other homes were H1 in the area by previous builds by our builder, they'd quoted H2 to be on the safe side so to speak) So we're hoping for a hefty refund variation as I'm pretty sure H1 - H2 was $6k? Hello we are building at Banyan Hill in Ballina. I think our slab for H1-2 for the house was $8756 so really hoping we get some back! Do you think we will get a refund for being classified M when we were quoted a Hs slab?
