Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jan 15, 2018 2:30 pm Hi all Thought I’d start my own thread for the new home my husband and I are building. Back in September 2016, we bought an old deceased estate. Fast forward to August last year our slab was finally poured. Looking forward to sharing our new home. The lighter grey small tile next to it is our powder room and all bathrooms bench top caesaratone in oyster. The dark and light grey colours on the top right are the bench top and cupboards in the laundry and the lighter colour is what we’re using for the media cabinetry in both rooms downstairs. Our slab went down in Dec 16 and our scaffolding is still there while they’ve been working on the inside Metricon Liberty 45, Ryde NSW http://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=82846 Build thread: Metricon Liberty 45 in Ryde, NSW Re: Metricon Laguna 37 Kingston, southern Sydney 14Jan 22, 2018 10:30 pm Great colour selection. We now have all the tiles on our alfresco area Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ And the two flat roofs one over the garage and the one at the left front of the property have been completed this week. They just need to complete the tiles on the small roof edge that runs from the laundry door to the back of the house and all roof areas will be complete! Also our air con has started being installed and the electrician has started putting wires everywhere l! Orpheus Building the Metricon Glendale 38|Sydney Re: Metricon Laguna 37 Kingston, southern Sydney 17Feb 24, 2018 10:13 pm Lots of progress to report. We had a walk through with our ss on Tuesday to go through all the electrical as they wanted to start gyprocking. Everything looked good and all the insulation had been put in as well. They just need to finish the cornices and they’ll soon be able to start waterproofing! It’s so nice to see walls!! It’s surprising how different the house looks after gyprocking When we saw just our frames and insulation, we felt the house was small. Once the gyprock was on, it felt much bigger and after painting, it’ll feel bigger again Metricon Liberty 45, Ryde NSW http://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=82846 Build thread: Metricon Liberty 45 in Ryde, NSW Re: Metricon Laguna 37 Kingston, southern Sydney 19Feb 25, 2018 8:48 am CamillaS Lots of progress to report.
