I'm looking to build in Jordan Springs East but concerned about the close proximity to the high voltage power lines running right through! (Effects of health mainly as we have small children)
Does anyone have any insight on this?

Have you had a look at the area ?if not, I’d suggest a drive up there is necessary. We went down there last week. The land where we are looking to buy is blocked due to site preparation but could get as close as a few hundred meters. The powerlines seemed pretty far off. I’d assume the high risk areas will be cornered off. Best to check with lendlease or the builder for details. Good luck.

Just to mention, we were considering buying there and now we are not. There are mixed views about living close to high voltage power lines . My view is if there’s a reasonable doubt, why bother. In this case it’s health, which should be on the highest of priority.
