Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Building a modified Grange 25 - Coral Homes - Brisbane 41Apr 14, 2018 6:24 pm Week 10: We are locked out 😭 so unable to see the finished tiling in the bathrooms. Kitchen and laundry splashbacks haven’t been done. Downpipes, eaves and boards above windows have been painted. Painters have covered what they need to inside so looks like inside painting should commence Monday. Yours is going to look amazing with the extension. Are you doing decking? Can't wait to see your kitchen finished, won't be long now. Yep we are doing decking, thinking Merbau stain like the front door but starting to worry about the up keep. Also considering extending the deck a metre or two towards the backyard. Was very disappointed to see no progress on the kitchen, the benchtop hasnt been put in. Re: Building a modified Grange 25 - Coral Homes - Brisbane 47Apr 24, 2018 8:38 am We chose Merbau for the front door, so good to see how yours turned out. It looks fantastic (nice, rich colour). Doesn't look like there is much to do, so shouldn't be too long and you will be living there. Yes loving how nice the merbau is, we are using this stain for our alfresco deck too. Re: Building a modified Grange 25 - Coral Homes - Brisbane 50Apr 24, 2018 9:55 am Dylandbrooke Looking great! I love your front door colour!!! Also, what colour are your walls? Thanks. Congratulations you must be so excited to move in. Our walls are dulux white exchange half. Re: Building a modified Grange 25 - Coral Homes - Brisbane 52Apr 30, 2018 3:14 pm bestspecials Anything new?? Hi, Electrical and some other fit outs were done last week. Still no word on PCI, if we hear nothing by mid week will contact SS for a site visit. Splashback tiles are meant to go to the ceiling so not sure if they will have to remove range to do so. Not the best photos through glass 😆 Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Building a modified Grange 25 - Coral Homes - Brisbane 53Apr 30, 2018 7:37 pm Looks great. The thought of what else needs to be done once the house is handed over is overwhelming Don't be overwhelmed. That will be the fun part as you will be living there. Yay!! We are hoping that we can time the driveway, fence and front landscaping to be done as soon as they hand over the keys. That’s our plan too, just need that date 😆 Re: Building a modified Grange 25 - Coral Homes - Brisbane 57May 05, 2018 7:26 pm Tentative PCI date for 14th of May with handover 2 weeks later. Can’t wait as I haven’t seen our bathrooms in weeks with being locked out. Tiling complete except splashback tiles are meant to go up to the ceiling. Laminate floors are done, not sure about the colour, hard to judge peaking through a window 😂: Flyscreens have gone up, their very sheer so don’t tend to even notice them which is good. Sorry not the best photos of the inside. Looking to install shutters in the big window at the front of the house. Anyone had a good experience with a company, even online? Apparently due to delays with trades. Handover still 28th 🤷♀️, will see. Splashback tiling to be rectified so it goes up to the ceiling as per tile selection. Re: Building a modified Grange 25 - Coral Homes - Brisbane 60May 10, 2018 9:27 pm Looks great. At least they won't be rushing the finishes. We spent close to 2 years in a process with TA.
