G'day Guys,
I am only in the very early stages of researching the viability of building a PPOR in Sydney (Southern Suburbs) and one thing that has always pricked my interest is building with Precast Concrete
I work in shipping and constantly see our warehouses going up with large precast panels and amazed out how quickly it all happens and comes together. Have also, like everyone else, I assume, been watching the more and more residential applications of this on shows like Grand Designs
My question is, has anyone done this lately and more so, in Sydney and if so how did you find the experience, things to watch out for etc
Another question, has anyone had anything to do with Austral Precast as seems they can offer a whole house solution for slabs and walls?
I am looking at an U Shape / Double Story house built on screw piles on a slightly sloping block. Total around 400m2 over the 2 levels
Many thanks in advance for any assistance and look forward to contributing to the forum wherever I can
