At the end of the day its just paint, can always change it in a few years (though roof colour and window frames not so much!). Re: Building with MOMU at Brightwood (Baldivis) 10Jan 23, 2018 10:42 pm We have some action on the block, which is great because Christmas got in the way of the start, just missed out by a couple of weeks waiting on the settlement. Slab should be down this week, and bricks sent to the block next week apparently, Has been pretty easy going so far with not too much to fret about (I was worried about the potential toll this would take on our marriage, especially with the choices one has to make). But I am learning that the wife is 98.5% always right, so she tells me... But so far, so good. Some ways to go I guess... I am guessing it is a byproduct of the curing process, given that most of it is gone now. Re: Building with MOMU at Brightwood (Baldivis) 18Feb 13, 2018 11:57 am I managed to sweet talk Momu for white mortar, however I pain an arm and a leg for it and it was only to the feature brickwork at the front. Would have cost like $4.5k for the whole house, which is insane seeing as eastern states get it for like $700 Find my build thread here: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=88694&f=31&p=1729530#p1729530 Re: Building with MOMU at Brightwood (Baldivis) 19Feb 13, 2018 5:36 pm Mathew_Nikki Brickies rocked up last Friday to set out, now we are starting to see some walls Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ We are happy that the guys have 'mixed up' the brick pattern. Looks like we’ve chosen the same bricks, I love them! I don’t think they look bad at all with the cream mortar. I know it was a couple hundred if I wanted to do white mortar for the front feature wall. I didn’t see the point in it. My brickies are hoping to be done in 10 days, if not then 14. I’d be super happy if that was the case!
