I had this issue too and am now 12 months post handover and fighting them on why I was ignore 100 times and there are still defects in my frames. Absolutely write everything down- every phone conversation should be diarised and put as much in writing to them as possible. If you are really concerned I would phone your supervisor and tell him you want construction halted until the issues are addressed. Don't worry about delaying construction. It's worth it to get things right They weren't really major, just that there was quite a few of them. Some of them were big, but not affected by plaster. I was only concerned with getting defects fixed that would be covered up by the plaster. There were others such as minor defects with my roof that I was ok with them fixing at a later stage, I just needed the internal work completed and checked as I knew the plaster was booked to be installed. I generally correspond via e-mail, however this process can be frustrating to say the least, as I sometimes do not get a response, or I get a response but some of my questions get ignored, or I get delayed responses. For this reason, I do prefer to deal with my site supervisor direct as I get direct answers, but once I encountered this issue I went straight to my customer services officer via e-mail as this was something I wanted in writing.
