Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Dec 01, 2017 12:04 pm I went by the house last week and the tiles had been delivered. I took a picture of the delivery receipt and when I got home I compared it to our contract and it was the wrong tiles for the backsplash. We chose City Grey Gloss STRUCTURED and they got City Grey Gloss. The difference is the structured one has th 3D effect whereas the other is flat. The next day we contacted them and it had already been installed. They said the one we chose was discontinued so they got that one. Thing is, we weren’t notified of any changes. Will they charge us to remove the tile? Has this happened to anyone, if so what happened? Or what should happen in this situation? Thanks Re: Builder put in the wrong backsplash, what’s next? 2Dec 01, 2017 3:01 pm 2017istheyear I went by the house last week and the tiles had been delivered. If YOU don't like the ones that have been put up, the BUILDER has to take them off and YOU should be the one to choose a different one. Don't be bullied by them. They can't just pick and choose what they want. It's your money, your house and the choice is yours. (As you can tell I'm kind of fed up with these builders!!!!)
