Metricon Vantage 35 - New Build

Yeah Geraldton isn’t too bad. Our block is in Drummond Cove about 15m north of town and is near the beach so should be great.

If you have to get new furniture, at least it will all fit perfectly in your new home! We were terrible with furniture, took us almost 4 years before we had bought it all. Doesn’t help my tastes are bit xxy haha.

That facade looks amazing, I love modern, square lines.

Have you done selections yet?

I have finalized the external colors of the Vantage. This is how it will look. We have decided to replicate the colors of Newport display home.

Wow love the external colour choices!

Thank you, Orpheus
Exciting times ahead

Do you reckon the plans are ok? would appreciate any recommendations for voids/bulkheads and infills.

Also since I have increased ceiling heights, I need to factor that into shelving sizes as well?

True that, can get matching furniture. But will cost a fortune
Guess it's all worth it

They have been postponing selections. I am still negotiating as they had included incorrect items/prices in my tender/variation.

Our SC is amazing, so he is helping us sort the issues with H.O.

Can't believe the inaccuracies in contracts/variations considering the SQS system is one and same throughout.
The other two color choices for the facade were the below

A) This one has been replicated multiple times, but did not match my color choices

2. This one was interesting but I liked the feature wall of the other one better.

3. My choice

Is that real timber on the featured facade?

Hi Renman,

They are 133*18 V-joint Cedar Lining Boards

Does that classify as good timber?
A picture below of how the kitchen wall unit upgrade will look like. For this, we have added an additional oven (I am thinking of a substitute as I'd already get one) and relocated the standard oven from under benchtop to the wall unit.

For a substitute any good ideas? Clearly, two ovens are not required.

Would be high up keep if it’s timber.

That's true though
. Have to bear the cost, as we both loved the design.

It’s going to look impressive once it’s done.

Hi Maddy 178, I just found your blog. Is your house already built?? We are going to build Vantage with same mode facade. How does your facade looks with all beautiful colours you selected. Thanks.

I am building the vantage 40 cube facade and worries about the non flat roof line that shows up in the contract. Any thoughts? Has your build completed?
