Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Nov 15, 2017 6:15 pm Hi Everyone,
I am just wondering if anyone can let me know what is the roughly site cost are you guys paying for? and how many of you signed up with fixed / non-fixed site cost. I am at stage 47. those tiny 260m2 land... my builder refuse to do fixed site cost for me but they believe it will not be more than $10K. therefore they just put the $10K as allowance... My friend who built with fixed sitecost kept telling me not to sign any building contract without a fixed sitecost. it really concerns me as my friend kept telling me that the sitecost can rock up to more than $20K, you never know. Also, they said the estimated settlement date is around Feb / March 2018, does anyone have any idea about what is the extra time frame i should expect? because the builder said they we only fix the price for 12 months. i am so scared that if the land delay that may affect my building price. Please help! Any delays in taking possession of site, anything outside of the builders control, etc...can warrant a price increase as per contract.
