The doors are hung and shelving started however the pantry light switch will involve a email Monday morning as it has been covered by a piece of timber 😲 Pantry light switch coveredLike ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Individual Design - New Choice Homes 203Apr 07, 2018 6:37 am Choosy Got our lock up invoice this afternoon however when we called in this arvo we found the garage door open, probably for the plasterer to finish a few areas. Could that be the same with yours? I wouldn’t worry about the laundry pp being covered. When the sparky comes in to do faceplates he’ll just make another hole in a better place, must have been in the wrong spot before based on shelving heights. The wiring is all there. majestic35.weebly.com Re: Individual Design - New Choice Homes 204Apr 07, 2018 9:45 am Choosy Got our lock up invoice this afternoon however when we called in this arvo we found the garage door open, probably for the plasterer to finish a few areas. I’m sure the switch is an oversight and will be moved to a better location. It’s looking great Re: Individual Design - New Choice Homes 205Apr 07, 2018 9:55 am Rocchet Choosy Got our lock up invoice this afternoon however when we called in this arvo we found the garage door open, probably for the plasterer to finish a few areas. It was the garage (shoppers entry) door that was not locked shut, we don't get a garage lift door until just before pci. The problem is that the timber is nailed into a brick wall that has been rendered and plastered around the light switch wall box thst was cut in, any moving of the wall box or removing the timber will damage the walls and take longer than moving the light switch wall box first. During the next week the baths will be installed, the ceilings/cornice will be painted and the doors and frames undercoated. The cabinetry is due to be installed this Friday and next week the wet area water proofing and floor screeding will be done. 😁 Re: Individual Design - New Choice Homes 208Apr 10, 2018 10:52 pm Re: Individual Design - New Choice Homes 210Apr 11, 2018 9:20 am Choosy CL confirmed today that the light switch will be relocated in due course and also provided an update. Must’ve been exciting seeing the baths in 😁 Re: Individual Design - New Choice Homes 211Apr 13, 2018 3:20 pm Re: Individual Design - New Choice Homes 213Apr 13, 2018 9:52 pm We definitely have lots of storage, will make the pain of moving easier. Looking forward to the family using the hamper draws in the ensuite, bathroom and laundry. Ceilings are painted and doors are undercoated.

Love your ensuite cabinets so much space and storage Re: Individual Design - New Choice Homes 215Apr 13, 2018 11:02 pm We put a hamper draw on each end of the ensuite vanity, his and hers 🤣🤣🤣 Re: Individual Design - New Choice Homes 218Apr 14, 2018 10:01 pm House is looking mint! Wish we had the space to put in hamper drawers Light switch is a pain. We generally drop the light switch by 150mm whenever it's close to shelving to avoid this exact issue, so seems like an oversight on draftings behalf. We put one in the kids bathroom next to the bath and one in the laundry. We understand why the light switch was wrong (no one is perfect) it was just the fact that the timber was fixed over the wall box that we questioned, at least they stopped before proceeding to install the shelving so the sparky can shift the switch, hopefully closer to the door frame.
Whilst a couple off minor things have needed adjusting we are very happy that drafting included items that we did not invision eg. the DHO in the hallway opposite to the kitchen is at 28c to match the kitchen bulkhead, would have done my head in if they were not the same height. Thanks to the plumber we were able to get access for more photos today. 😁😁😁 BathroomLike ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ LaundryLike ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ SculleryLike ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ PowderLike ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ IslandLike ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Individual Design - New Choice Homes 220Apr 15, 2018 2:55 am We looked at incorporating it into the robe fitout somehow but was going to be too hard when we decided to do it ourselves.
