Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Crystal 16 by Dennis Family Homes 27Jan 18, 2018 12:03 pm Ah, of course! My wife did tell me that ages ago. Duh! Hey, I only slept 2 hours after work last night as I had to meet the electrician on site this morning... and that's the excuse I am sticking too. Re: Crystal 16 by Dennis Family Homes 28Jan 27, 2018 11:56 pm And we are in. Bit if a mad rush the last couple of days, and things here and there already that we need to report, however none the less this is HOME for the next so many years! Excited indeed. Please mind the messy house, we are still settling in, moving with two babies is like moving with one arm and one leg hah.. Re: Crystal 16 by Dennis Family Homes 32Jan 29, 2018 11:34 am Humphrey29 How was the remainder of the build? Looks amazing, thanks for sharing 😀 Hi Humphrey, there were no real dramas with our build considering it was a pretty standard layout, modest size with modest upgrades. Only thing that kept us hanging was this basin that they were out of stock for so long that the ss had to ask another builder who happened to have them in his stock. Since that needed to be done to obtain occupancy permit and then bank releasing funds which only then we can handover, we ended up cutting it way too close.. 4 days out from lease ending on our rental haha.. As I mentioned, there are already a couple of items such as a minor tile grout mishap, one roof tile slightly out of place, that we missed out on pci but ss has confirmed to get them fixed even after handover. Overall, would recommend and use dfh next time aswell. Lord knows when we will be able to clear out and organise so that the fun stuff can begin..haha basically stuff from our previous place, no new furniture or items as of yet apart from dining chairs.
