It seems to differ from company to company but we were advised we were in construction on the 22/09 and slab was down on the 06/10, so two weeks later. Hopefully they start the earthworks soon!

Re: Aveling Build - Rosehill Waters 82Feb 05, 2018 9:41 pm i hope you see some action very soon. I'm sure they're not too far off starting earthworks but i also know that not too far off is not close enough when you're excited to get going. I'm sure they will start soon Re: Aveling Build - Rosehill Waters 85Feb 07, 2018 5:38 pm No - still radio silence from Aveling! I don't know who to hassle now - the pre-start lady said she'd passed my file to Construction 2 weeks ago tomorrow (25/01) and that someone would be in touch either late last week or early this week, so really thought we'd have heard something by now! I would just email your pre-start contact and see what she can find out/knows. Surely if she doesn't know she could just pick up the phone or forward it on to the appropriate person Re: Aveling Build - Rosehill Waters 87Feb 08, 2018 10:23 am I did a bit of chasing yesterday - called our original sales consultant to see if he could find out what was happening. He came back and said they were waiting on the deposit invoice.... ugh!! Had to tell him that this was paid last week and I have the receipt they sent me to prove it. He said someone would call me today to introduce themselves and let me know timings for earthworks, which would apparently happen in the next week. I'll believe it when I see it right now!! Such a frustrating process. Re: Aveling Build - Rosehill Waters 88Feb 08, 2018 11:48 am 🙁 it is really frustrating. I hope you hear from someone today and you get some more info to work with. If earthworks started next week that would be great news! Re: Aveling Build - Rosehill Waters 89Feb 08, 2018 12:19 pm It can be very frustrating waiting, hopefully you will hear soon. Re: Aveling Build - Rosehill Waters 90Feb 08, 2018 12:20 pm Well true to their word! Just received a call from our liaison in construction, earthworks have been completed, footings going in tomorrow and slab will be completed early next week! Doing my little happy dance at my desk at work now! Woop Woop!! Re: Aveling Build - Rosehill Waters 91Feb 08, 2018 2:12 pm Yay for progress, hopefully you'll get more updates from now on.😁😁 Re: Aveling Build - Rosehill Waters 93Feb 09, 2018 9:45 am Re: Aveling Build - Rosehill Waters 98Feb 11, 2018 8:17 pm That's a nice big slab! Temperatures in Perth are going to be in the 30's this week with a 37 degree day on Thursday. I've seen on here some people going and watering their slab to help with curing - should we be doing the same? Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense.
