Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Oct 30, 2017 11:48 am I am building with Provincial Homes at Schofields. The site leveling, site marking were done last week. Site supervisor informed me Piller piercing to be done on this Tuesday, the allowance provided for the pillers is 90 l/m. Site is slopping back, so there is cut and fill apprx, 300mm infront and around 500 fill at rear. Not sure if higher piercing needed to support the two levels. Building size 36 squares. Can some one help me whether the piercing estimation given by Provincial is accurate. Your help is appreciated. Re: Provincial Homes - Building at Schofields 2Nov 28, 2017 12:58 pm I'm building at box hill about to have frame erected so i'm about 1.5 months in front of you given I was at your stage on 13 October. We didnt get any estimate just the P.A. which is standard 90l/m for everyone with Provincial. We had a 1.5m fall on our lot and came in at 120 l/m. I spoke to the guy doing the piering and he said its all luck. Some guys in the estate 100 meters from me had nearly no piering so its all luck. Also, there is a provincial homes thread on here too. Given its a local builder you will have better luck having Provincial specific questions asked in there. No idea about the driveway question, but your price for a house that size including landscaping seems very good! 1 6158 The Dulux colour consultants are awesome.
