The bricks go up so quick, just when you think they couldn't work any quicker they surprise you with more progress haha. Thanks, it's great going out there and seeing little things getting done everyday Re: HGWA Baldivis 43Mar 19, 2018 11:25 pm I’m hoping not to go down too much 😂 but I know I won’t be able to resist, just want the roof to be on before the bad weather starts to set In , you must be excited any rough ideas of PCI? Re: HGWA Baldivis 44Mar 19, 2018 11:36 pm vanessah2015 I’m hoping not to go down too much 😂 but I know I won’t be able to resist, just want the roof to be on before the bad weather starts to set In , you must be excited any rough ideas of PCI? Haha i said the same thing and during bricks i went out about 3x a week with my family going on the days i couldn't due to work! It's all part of the fun though & honestly, it's a great feeling seeing your hard work pay off. No idea of PCI yet. During the first week of bricks the SS said 18-20 weeks i would be in, which i worked out to be June. I think once i reach lock up i will check in to see if we have a better idea of when PCI may be. I would be stoked with an early June handover Re: HGWA Baldivis 45Mar 20, 2018 10:07 am Summitlovin vanessah2015 I’m hoping not to go down too much 😂 but I know I won’t be able to resist, just want the roof to be on before the bad weather starts to set In , you must be excited any rough ideas of PCI? We’ve had an email from our building inspector to say they’re doing our plate height inspection on 27/3 but bricks just started on Monday 19/3 would that be an estimation of plate height completion HG have given them? 🤔 Re: HGWA Baldivis 49Mar 21, 2018 9:05 pm vanessah2015 Had a question to ask everyone, how long did your bricks take? If your total house is around the 300sq mtr size then I would be expecting more like 3 weeks. Thanks for that choosy I had my meeting today and was told they’d be finished by Friday and back on Monday if there’s any issues but there is like 4-5 of them working, it’s just gone up so quick! Re: HGWA Baldivis 53Mar 22, 2018 2:43 pm So had our brick meeting today apparently due to be finished by Friday 😳 SS will check on Monday and they’ll fix any issues if any then, building inspector booked for Tuesday can’t believe how quick it’s gone up. Met the brickies they seemed lovely, there was about 4-5 of them happy with the work so far. Re: HGWA Baldivis 55Mar 22, 2018 4:32 pm Yea thought it might’ve been, super impressed I was expecting it to take two weeks 😳 Re: HGWA Baldivis 56Mar 22, 2018 4:45 pm We’ve had two bricklayers and it’s taken them just over 3 weeks so 1 week is super quick! Re: HGWA Baldivis 57Mar 23, 2018 12:41 am Our last build was about 9 working days for the bricking if I recall correctly and I thought that was fast! Must be awesome to see changes like that so quick my new build thread- Ben Trager https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=89826 my switch build thread (2011) https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=36569 Re: HGWA Baldivis 58Mar 23, 2018 8:15 am Hi Tinkster, that’s pretty impressive it’s really Cool seeing the the difference each time we go down and the brick work looks pretty tidy to my untrained eye, but again I don’t know what constitutes being bad 😂 Re: HGWA Baldivis 59Mar 23, 2018 11:27 pm Had a drive down tonight to get window measurements for blinds and Curtiams and we were really surprised with the progress was really cool to get a rough idea i the layout in person and walk through our home, still have walls for bedroom 4 and the study to go, We were also really surprised to see our timber for our roof has already been delivered 😱 Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: HGWA Baldivis 60Mar 25, 2018 10:34 am Thats a good sign, hopefully they have the carpenters arranged to start your roof this week. |
