This is the conduit for the metre box. As is sits here - the metre box will be in the bed 2 window. Perhaps they will do a 90 deg turn to the left into the box......

There were quite a few noggins like this or loose or twisted. A few weren't nailed in securely, 2 nails close together which results in a easy to twist noggin. Some nails went into the noggin and came out either the side or bottom also.

The wall are fabricated off site. They knock a nogging out here or there as the walls may not be square when they are joined onto each other onsite. One wall may push the other out - so by taking a nogging out they can square the walls. They will fix these noggins shortly, just need to be trimmed a little and refixed. Son is a carpenter and explained this is what they do on site to fix any slight sizing issues due to pre fab walls. Nothing to worry about.
