We've chosen to build with Clarendon based on the floor plan we like and their good reviews we found on various websites/social media. Originally I was in love with the Coral Arden 21, but...
As it was a covenant requirement to have our garage on the left-hand side of our block (The north side), this limited our choices of floorplans significantly as it's common for the alfresco to be diagonal from the garage. This restriction landed me on the Denton 24 so we can maximise natural light throughout the house as much as possible, sunlight inside during winter and shaded through summer. Plus this would have us looking at our little view too, which won't be much, but something.
Upgrades we went for:
- Complete Comfort Upgrade Pack
- Complete Kitchen Upgrade Pack (Gas cooktop)
- Complete Bathroom Upgrade Pack
- Complete Security Upgrade Pack
- Raised ceilings - 2,600mm
- Large windows in living room
- Changed front window to a large awning window
- Big sliding stacker door to alfresco
- Gas cooktop
- Tiling throughout living areas/carpet in bedrooms/media
- Gas hot water
- Various other small changes that I cbf listing
Solar planning (Summer is the bold orange curve)
