But pressing things first tiles. My personal preference and trying to go with the theme your after would be the grey tiles on the floor and the hexagonal tiles for the niche with white wall tiles. But as I said that's what I would choose. But how annoying you are having to re choose!! Like you, I agonised over every single choice an would hate to have to go back and pick something new. omg SN that artwork is to die for!! Esp the unicorn. arrghh your lucky children!! I honestly think with your off centred window, you will notice it to start with but you will quickly become accustomed to it and no longer see it. I’m hearing you about the retaining walls, we are either going to treat the timber to prevent rot or go with sandstone block retaining, depends on my budget. Sandstone is quite affordable if you get b grade it’s the machinery needed to move the damn blocks, if you have someone with a block cat or excavator you could go that way. I am with your husband blah not my cup of tea at all, Sorry ☹️. I loved them a little while back but I got over the trend, simple and elegant rocks my boat I have a option, can you keep your same white wall tiles but use grey or black penny rounds on the floor, then use the same penny rounds as a feature in your niche also it matches and is timeless and suits your cabinetry. Pricing, push back on the tile shop and tell them you want the tiles at the best possible rate, you have had to reselect at the last minute and can’t afford a big price increase. Honestly they pay squat for them so push back. I love the penny rounds on the floor they look incredible, they will go really well with your black butt flooring too. Remind me why I don’t have penny rounds on my floors?? Damn it.
