Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Oct 12, 2017 11:21 am Hi All,
Can anyone give me some advice - We're building with Henley two storey Mercer Q2, started end of May and currently at Fit-Off Stage, I'm trying to plan and budget to see whether we'd finish prior to Xmas. I'm thinking if it's not done by then we'll probably only be in in Feb.. The main render is done but the pillars haven't been, they've finished painting inside, the main tiles, and pretty much finished the wet tiles as well - I understand the last steps are taps, appliances, points/ lights and driveway. Any thoughts on whether we'd be ready by Xmas? Re: Building with Henley at Fit-Off Stage 2Oct 12, 2017 11:33 am Were only a single storey with Eden Brae, but we are only getting our wet area screed done today, no main area tiling started yet, no painting started yet, and we are aiming at handover in mid December at the latest according to our SS. Best bet is to just ask and see what they say. That said though, we have been building for 7 months and our contract is up at the end of November, so they have got a bit of a rush on everything now to try and at least get to PCI by the end of contract. Thanks for much mate. I see that you do cabinets before flooring.
