Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Building again, Ben Trager homes WA 21Jan 16, 2018 11:02 am Yeah we spent 60k at contract stage, but that's because I added everything in then, rather than Prestart as we knew exactly what we wanted. Prestart was about 8k in the end and that was just doing some fixture and tiling upgrades really. It also makes me wonder if i have included enough powerpoints etc. Guess i will find out! Looking forward to following your build Re: Building again, Ben Trager homes WA 24Mar 13, 2018 10:20 pm Finally, some action on the block. Water meter and tap went in today. We’ve had delays with the final plans but they say two weeks in scheduling and hopefully a start this month 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ my new build thread- Ben Trager https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=89826 my switch build thread (2011) https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=36569 Re: Building again, Ben Trager homes WA 26Mar 14, 2018 12:08 am Hopefully you see some more progress in the next few weeks. Re: Building again, Ben Trager homes WA 27Mar 29, 2018 5:07 pm Can I ask how your build is going and how Ben Trager was for you? We are leaning towards their company at the moment and are looking for somewhat high end build as well. I really like how professional and helpful they have been so far and its before Ive even given them a dollar. Re: Building again, Ben Trager homes WA 28Mar 29, 2018 5:13 pm We settled on the block yesterday so haven’t started the build yet. BUT-we’ve done Prestart and all the contracts and everything and I’ve been really really happy with how they’ve been. Very open communication, very clear. Would recommend them 100% so far. my new build thread- Ben Trager https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=89826 my switch build thread (2011) https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=36569 Re: Building again, Ben Trager homes WA 29Mar 29, 2018 7:31 pm Thanks for the response. What have you decided to do through builder and what outside? I think we are going to go with everything internal done apart from paint and window finishings. They don't seem WILDLY too OTT on charging heaps. Re: Building again, Ben Trager homes WA 30Mar 29, 2018 7:33 pm We haven’t had them do much extra, we will be doing driveway, flooring, painting, skirtings etc. They were pretty good with adding things in, most things were very reasonable cost. my new build thread- Ben Trager https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=89826 my switch build thread (2011) https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=36569 Re: Building again, Ben Trager homes WA 31Apr 12, 2018 11:06 pm my new build thread- Ben Trager https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=89826 my switch build thread (2011) https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=36569 Re: Building again, Ben Trager homes WA 34Apr 13, 2018 9:54 pm Caught this happening this morning.
