Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Oct 06, 2017 7:37 am Hi all, Our beautiful Eden Brae home is finally taking shape, with its steel frame erected and ready to go. We have set aside some items that we intend to wall mount - a bookcase, TV unit, a couple of shelves etc. Drilling into a wooden beam has never been an issue, but obviously steel is a lot harder to tap into! Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to go about this safely? Our concern is that we don’t want to blunt our drill - is there an attachment we can purchase? I’m a complete novice in this field! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
