It could be a quality-of-workmanship thing, my German father in law had never seen "cornice" until he came here, and only found out why it exists when he started repairs on his house ... cornice where it does exist in Germany (and possibly the USA) probably covers a perfect join between wall & ceiling rather than an ugly gap. I got the lineal metre price off another client, which was straight from the same sales guy we also had. He prices it at $15 / Lineal Metre. My quote was exactly $1996.00 and when I worked it out off my plans it comes to $962 ?!! Now what to do...
