I know some one who build with Oracle and they moved in before 16 weeks. I don’t know if ours will be done by week 16, we had a bit of delay earlier on because of the rain, we are happy with the progress so far , we were on site on 6 October, we are now on lock down. We hope it’s going to progress well after the Christmas break. Hi Mafu, We are at the contract signing stage with Oracle. In the building period clause it states that from commencement they have 197 dry days and 10 days for wet data for time allowance. Can I ask if your clause was similar to this? As we have been told several times they go by a 16 week building ptime frame, however 197 working days comes to approx 40 weeks? 🤔🤔 just wondering what your clause had in it? Thanks ☺️ Hi Allyh, unfortunately it’s been long but I think the clause is the same, Oracle took just over 7 months to build our house. It was so long and frustrating . I remember we got our keys close to the timeframe they had given us. I honestly think it depends with your SS because some people had their homes finished quite quick with Oracle. Though the build took a long time to finish we are happy with the finished product and their inclusions are great.
