Left them to it but assume they were ripping them down straight away while the mud was wet and so hopefully no damage to waterproofing. SS is on the ball so he is checking it out from his end too. Ducted Air Con started today, and prep for driveway/side path paving happening this week too. My little 'still to do list' is as follows - looks like abt 2 weeks of work to me...
Re: 1st Build - New Choice Homes 46Feb 05, 2018 3:25 pm 2 weeks would be a fair estimate, however don't be surprised if it's at least another month. I was in the same position Find my build thread here: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=88694&f=31&p=1729530#p1729530 Re: 1st Build - New Choice Homes 47Feb 07, 2018 11:01 pm We have been told (different builder) we have anout 2.5-3 weeks till pci. We still have to do: Site clean House clean Final paint down pipes/ paint cornises around kitchen joinery/above garage roller door and alfresco + install it there (was told be completed this week) Gas line Plumbing 8/2 booked Stormwater was dine today and looks like area for paving leveled Next week: 12/2 fly screens 13/2 security doors 15/2 floor boards Around 15/2 (maybe earlier) pavers Told paving can take around 8 days... as soon as paving is finished they will clean house and arrange pci date Which is looking to be week of 19/2 depending when pave start and how long it takes... Then aircon unit install, oven, cooktop, door handles , garagedoor and motor , and dishwasher powerpoint plus cover on power points and lught bulbs Re: 1st Build - New Choice Homes 49Feb 08, 2018 1:15 pm Update yesterday with SS, looks like 3 weeks as per schedule so literally end of the month. Short delay on kitchen splashback so that will be one of the last items. Pavers were busy so getting delivered on 12th and starting on 14th but only expected to take 3 days as only driveway/crossover and 2 small sections on side of the house as we are decking the alfresco. Couple of minor issues found, electrician missed 1 data point when fitting off, and 1 of the minor robes that should have been half shelf/half hang was built as full hang so quick fix needed by chippie on that. Render has had a coat of paint and internal doors and frames now all glossed. Drove past on way to work and cleaner was there giving the house a good going over and the garage door was going in this morning so looking forward to seeing that tonight Re: 1st Build - New Choice Homes 51Feb 13, 2018 2:46 pm Inside the last couple of weeks now! This Week Paving - Starts Tomorrow Appliances & Hot Water system going in this week also, looking forward to seeing our black glass cooktop and ovens in Fixups - Shelving missing from 1 minor wardrobe which is being fixed, along with a missing data point in the Theatre Fly Screens Next Week Splashback - Installed next week - had some issues as they were talking about it needing to be 2-3 pieces, but now confirmed 1 piece will be doable. Robe Doors, Mirrors, Shower Screens Then the landscaping fun starts! I've got a super detail orientated independent Building Inspector so I'm expecting him to find a decent list of minor fixups so want to get cracking on it as soon as possible! Ive started pencilling in my tradies from 7th March so wanting keys by then to run like clockwork! Re: 1st Build - New Choice Homes 56Feb 14, 2018 8:13 pm Oh yes our bank told us to allow upto 2 weeks from pci to receive keys (pricess payment/valuation etc) Will be good to get that date! We are also waiting fot pci date atm. We still have left:floors (think tomorrow) flyscreens, mirrors, shower screens , outside paint second coat, paving (completion next Wednesday)oven, stive, aircon unit, garage door Re: 1st Build - New Choice Homes 57Feb 15, 2018 5:58 pm I've had the dreaded "your flooring is out of stock til April' email today from Carpet Court, but they have offered some alternatives so will see how that goes. Which bank do you mind me asking said 2 weeks? No sign of the brick pavers still that were due to start yesterday so they are the tipping point right now!
