It will be such a conversation starter in your house, which by the way is seriously powering along! in other news I did a drive-by yesterday at ours, and it looks like they have finally made a start fixing a lot of the defects. We still have the cladding at the front of the house to go, but i'm just happy that finally something is happening! Not sure where they will be able to make up time however. In the meantime, i'll live my building adventure through others progress haha everything looks awesome! Re: Scenic Rim QLD Acreage Build With Bold Living. 522Apr 23, 2018 5:29 pm kailie86 That’s a great price! We enquired about a skylight for our living/dining through brighton and the SC told us not to even bother because they’re so expensive. We’ll see how we go after handover. It’s great that the engineers are being so particular about your slab, at least you know that when it goes down it will be done right worth taking the extra time for the added piece of mind. Hey Kailie, Mmmm that’s frustrating about the skylight, least it can be done after hand over . Agree I’m happy they are being so particular about the slab, looking forward to seeing it being poured Re: Scenic Rim QLD Acreage Build With Bold Living. 523Apr 23, 2018 5:30 pm Doulton777 I love the skylight look. We wanted to get that in one of the bathrooms upstairs as it hasn’t got a window in there except in the toilet that’s in there. We will see how we go. If it’s bright enough with that one window. viewtopic.php?t=86597 I see what you mean, I can understand you wanting one, see what you think once your in. They do look amazing I have to agree Re: Scenic Rim QLD Acreage Build With Bold Living. 525Apr 23, 2018 5:32 pm 1st time builders Your welcome to feel my kitchen up anytime Hahahhaha your on, I’m coming to the coast next weekend for Lucy’s birthday I might call in again for a feel . Need to check out the progress! Congrats Tribe!!! Hope the engineering inspection goes well! Hey Rural, Did you swing by? Hubby was up the block getting a earth works quote. We need it shed pad cut and the guy came for a site visit. Haven’t got the pricing yet 🤞. Re: Scenic Rim QLD Acreage Build With Bold Living. 527Apr 23, 2018 5:35 pm sparrowsnest Wow so much progress. Love the poop tank. Love the skylight and bookend bench and colours and everything lol. Your house is going to be amazing. I’m glad the progress is flying along. Owh your too kind, I’m still nervous about how it’s going to come together. I have a million crazy ideas, some hubby looks at me with a WTF face and others ideas he really likes. Fingers crossed our pace stays steady Re: Scenic Rim QLD Acreage Build With Bold Living. 528Apr 23, 2018 5:40 pm Tribe7 Agent_009 Wow $1400 is so worth it. That is going to look amazing in your house. Thanks agent, how did your meeting go? How’s your home on the market going? Meeting went well! James explained everything really well and is preparing a preliminary tender just to get the ball rolling. We are going to meet with Simonds next week as we like their Cloncurry design too (with quite a few tweaks we'll make to it). Then we will compare both and go from there! Had our first open home on Saturday and had 7 families through. Apparently 3 or 4 showed a bit of interest and one of them came back today for a second look. No offers yet though.
