Anyone care to share how long it took to get there authority to commence letter from CBA? Hahhahahha you got it about the running circuit Rural hahahha. Hopefully next time you come though something might of happened. Looking forward to seeing your pics We went through several rounds of requests for more information with CBA because all our builders insurances etc expired between our initial application and finalising the loan (nothing financial was requested, just building documents), but when we finally got there it was only 2 business days between the last documents submission and granting the LACC. The only document that really proved difficult was our plans had been certified by a private certifier, not the council (not sure if that’s a thing in QLD?) but CBA wanted a copy of their certification. This was over Christmas shutdown then the certifier didn’t even have a current copy of it so that one held us up by 2 weeks. CBA posted our LACC instead of emailing it so I had to spend an hour on the phone to find the right person to send a soft copy to me. Use it all the time for work but don’t have a build account yet, maybe once we have some photos to share I’ll be sure to follow along. I’m learning with Instagram, I’m not sure how much of my kids I want to share Re: Scenic Rim QLD Acreage Build With Bold Living. 392Mar 29, 2018 8:46 pm Bridgetwitch You go girl! Sounds like you will have everything approved in no time! Can I get in on this pool party?!? We would love to have a pool, but I think finding the cash for our driveway, fences, flooring and landscaping is probs more important! - B A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=87210 Crossing fingers it all gets ticked off quickly, I’ll be savage with the bank if they drag there feet. Slap on those togs and pool party it up I completely understand about making sure everything is taken care of, I sat and re ran my budget again tonight to make sure we are on tracking with savings and keeping a tab on what I’ve brought and still have to buy. The decking budget makes my eyes water, why does it have to be so damn expensive ☹️ Re: Scenic Rim QLD Acreage Build With Bold Living. 393Mar 29, 2018 8:53 pm Jenifermarie Tribe7 Crossing fingers the pool certifier hurries up and we will be all good. Building Wisdom Aspiration 31 at Willowdale https://ourwillowdalehome.wordpress.com/ Good god how did you not string some one up and slap some sense into them? Surely the bank could of advised you about the expiry dates sooner and sending it via mail is nuts. That’s a lot of fluffing around you had to go through, we have had our plans approved by a private certifier so I’ll have to see how it all goes. My CBA lady has said up to a week and a half for the LACC, hoping that’s not the case but time will tell. Do you have a thread jennifermarie? Or a separate blog? Re: Scenic Rim QLD Acreage Build With Bold Living. 394Mar 29, 2018 8:58 pm cat_dunc Im presuming those colours are the same as what we had to chose from. Ours is the light blue. Another lovely person on here had one of the middle blue colours. Do you know I read you message like 6 times and had no idea what you meant I put my phone down and went anyway to finish up some jobs and it dawned on me you meant the pool colours hahahhahahha whoops sorry about the seniors moment. I think your pool colour is so pretty, I really quite like all of them. I was put off by the black but Alice texted me some pics and it actually looks really good. Considering it was over 42 degrees out here A LOT through summer I will be stoked to just have a pool, pink and purple polka dot would be fine Re: Scenic Rim QLD Acreage Build With Bold Living. 395Mar 29, 2018 9:40 pm So much progress Tribe! How exciting! I’ve followed your insta. I don’t put any pictures of the kids up on mine but I’m a bit weird about online pictures of the kids. I can’t wait to have a pool. I didn’t know about the seconds options either. Are you able to share roughly how much cheaper it makes it? I will have to head out and have a look. I seem to recall we were told 5 working days for the LACC and I almost died because we had already paid a price increase to the builder and we literally had 10 working days left before they could do it again. I almost cried when it came through in 2! I have been blogging the whole lot. I’m considering starting a thread now we have finally got into construction too. https://ourwillowdalehome.wordpress.com/ Building Wisdom Aspiration 31 at Willowdale https://ourwillowdalehome.wordpress.com/ Re: Scenic Rim QLD Acreage Build With Bold Living. 397Mar 29, 2018 10:32 pm Yay! Building our first custom dream home. https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?share_ ... are_type=t We are finally starting to get there SN, it’s actually exciting again which reminds me why I love Building. Mmmm I know what you mean about the kids photos, I only share the occasional photo on here of them, I don’t have Facebook and I think I will limit it a lot with Instagram and only share the odd occasional kid pic. Love your insta photo cracks me up. Uhm I’m not sure 100% about pricing as yet, we have $37,300 allocated for the pool, once our house pad has been cut then Barrier Reef are coming back out to site the pool, figure out our extra concrete for our drop edge beam and piers and what size they have available in the seconds. We basically got allowance for the max I budgeted for and we have to make it work up to that value. Once I have the correct pricing I’ll let you know. It does not include decking or any extra tiling around the pool other than the standard row of coping, I also need to pay the electrician to run power to the pool and hook up the pump and lighting. The pump and filter are included. Oh fence is not included either. Same deal with the shed I have to get the electrician to hook up the shed power for the lights and roller door. Defiantly start a thread it’s a fantastic way to share, thanks for you help with the LACC too Re: Scenic Rim QLD Acreage Build With Bold Living. 400Mar 30, 2018 5:29 pm Got it, yay. Am I supposed to request to follow people back with private accounts Allblaqk? What’s the process? I don’t want to pry into anyone’s personal life but I feel a little rude and one sided by not requesting? I think I might of over thought it 1 4519 Hi all.
