We also ended up with CBA after dramas with our first mortgage broker screwing up and having to refinance after our land purchase had settled and so far CBA have been amazing. I am glad to see it is all back on track for you and I love love love your house design esp the recent changes you have made. Excited for you and looking forward to seeing all of your progress. What a big beautiful house you will have! Thanks Emma, now Im just crossing fingers and toes it all comes together like we have hoped. The massive batter at the back of our house will cause us issues. Your very lucky to have such a flat block I have everything crossed for you! Any time I get frustrated over waiting waiting waiting I make myself stop to appreciate how flat, large and inexpensive my block is compared to others in the estate (smaller and $45k more expensive now). I think anyone able to build a house is very, very lucky! I completely agree, an acre block on the Goldie would cost us a fortune. I am grateful for the chance we have to build a lovely home with a big pool and know we aren’t killing our selves financially. How crazy is this, acre blocks are selling 35 mins away from us and are $180k more than we paid. The land prices scare me a lot. I would of liked flatter land I won’t deny that Re: Scenic Rim QLD Acreage Build With Bold Living. 276Mar 01, 2018 4:53 pm ruraldoc So beautiful! You should copyright that design if it's yours! Will need to sneak over there to see when it starts going up. Hey Sunnycoast, It’s a huge pain in the butt to have finance battles hey, sounds like your broker was a bit of a gimp. Thank god CBA are so good I would of lost the plot otherwise. We are pretty pumped with the new changes and seriously can’t wait to start. Looking forward to seeing yours get started too Re: Scenic Rim QLD Acreage Build With Bold Living. 279Mar 01, 2018 5:12 pm We got great news last night that our final draft plans have been completed and we have been lodged to the certifier for building approval .
