Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Landscape plan for council approval 2Sep 16, 2017 6:03 pm Leey Hi, We are building a house with Eden Brae. It is now in the stage where our builder ask for landscape plan for submission to Ryde council for approval. Could anybody recommend any landscape designer which is cheaper as we don't want to spend much money on that ? Can we draw the plan ourselves? Any ideas? Many thanks Most councils accept hand drawn plans as long as you have included all requirements and listed everything. (E.g. Our first draft got rejected as we did not stipulate the trees would be 3m high and it was a requirement that advanced trees were planted.) - View my blog at www.waldorfgrangebuild.wordpress.com Hi Minho I have heaps of experience in Ku-ring-gai with both DAs and CDC ( this is the main area we build in).
