Just wondering if anyone has built similar and how long construction took? Getting a lot of different time frames for completion and just wanting to give myself a guide Is that complete hebel or brick & hebel mix ? and also do you know what size hebel panels are they using 50mm or 75mm. I am thinking of doing hebel but in two minds so trying to find all info. Thanks Re: Building Hebel home 3Mar 08, 2018 10:17 am Hebel Panels are just a veneer to a timber frame. I can't see any serious advantages of Hebel over the rendered brick. Acrylic render is expensive, thermal properties can always be compensated with just a better insulation. Acoustically, I bet bricks will work better. But can be installed quicker, yes. You should be reaching your lock up phase a couple of weeks quicker with Hebel. I was looking at different options for a fence for my build and Hebel PowerFence seemed like a good option (one of the criteria was a solid wall look). However, I don't… 0 5896 1 6627 1000000% definitely add insulation. I have in my home and it makes a big difference minimising sound transfer. Insulation is pretty cheap and definitely worth it 2 6191 |
