It is 900w x 700d x 1840h I don't mind about the fridge hanging out past the cabinetry as i know it serves a purpose with being able to open the doors but the pantry doors architrave starts at 700 which narrows down the fridge choice massively. We ended up with a hisense fridge as it was the only one that fit the hole properly. Got it home put it in its space and it wouldn't go all the way in due to the PowerPoint and cord sticking out and the door hit on the pantry door handle which would of dented the fridge if opened hard. We had to move the PowerPoint up high above the fridge and change the handle of the pantry to a flush handle. Maybe something we should have thought of earlier but unfortunately we didnt because we planned on buying a new fridge and just thought we would buy one to fit the space thinking it would be a common fridge space size. I think this is a bit of a design fault by Allworth and the pantry door should at least be a cavity slider. Another thing is that in the display home they had a fake fridge that fit the hole perfectly which mad it a bit deceiving. I'm rather disappointed about it but oh well, not much we can do about it now Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ viewtopic.php?f=31&t=89450&start=20 Re: Building the Hampton with Allworth Homes 205Jan 26, 2018 7:01 pm One other thing is that the laundry had an internal door with a glass insert in it the same as our pantry the whole way through our build (the display home also has it) while I was cleaning the floors yesterday I noticed it was now a plain solid door. What the hell, where did my nice glass door go? I have emailed regarding this and have been told they will look into it for me. 🤞 they do if not I will be harassing them, those doors are $500+ each and I want it back. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=89450&start=20 Re: Building the Hampton with Allworth Homes 206Jan 26, 2018 8:18 pm Oh no! What a pain in the ***. One of the first questions Timpelle asked me was what size my fridge was and how big I wanted the gap. Last year I had to get my cupboard doors redone above the fridge because I have an odd shaped fridge spot and my fridge died and I bought one that was too tall, but also it was the only one that was a decent size because our gap is also 900 or 890 and almost all larger sized fridges these days are about 915. Even though the fridge we got last year wasn’t as big I asked for 930 or 950 sized gap for next time. We actually spent a lot more money on our fridge than if we had a wider space because choice was so limited so I know that you didn’t get much to choose from because I was you back then. The pantry door is a real problem too, how frustrating. I hope you can find a way around that that will work for you As for the laundry door I know the glass ones are bloody expensive because I wanted one for my pantry and my house didn’t include them and my house had a big opening for the media room and I also changed that to double doors and wanted the glass and my hubby overruled me because the 3 doors cost so much. I actually don’t know what door is on my laundry but my guess is it’s plain to ho with the others. My sales guy said they are just hume doors and we can replace them later from bunnings, which I will do with my pantry as it’s 3.6 x 1.8m but doesn’t have a window because we added it on as an extension and we wanted our water tank to go there I’d definitely want them to change it to the glass one if you have paid for it. Sorry you’ve had s bit of a disappointing day viewtopic.php?t=89059 Re: Building the Hampton with Allworth Homes 207Jan 29, 2018 7:51 pm aphsta Oh no! What a pain in the ***. They replaced them with truffle lini Matt, so they're still not right anyway, I think we will put some cupboard doors there to cover it up because I can't be bothered going for a 3rd time to fix it, the wall is already damaged from ripping out the 1st lot that we never asked to be replaced anyway, we asked to be reimbursed for the difference between polytec and melamine but they obviously didn't want to listen to that. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=89450&start=20 Re: Building the Hampton with Allworth Homes 209Jan 29, 2018 8:05 pm 29/01/2018- our feature lights were installed today and I'm loving them, it really completes the house and takes your eye off other things that we weren't totally satisfied with. Hubby isn't taking any time off work so I moved our entire kitchen yesterday by myself with our 2 toddlers in tow, our son is great and actually helps but our daughter who is almost 2 is a nightmare, she's one of these whingey babies that's into absolutely everything, so by the time bedtime came this mumma had enough. At least now I can put our daughter down for her nap at the new house and I can get things done in the day time Didn't get alot of sleep last night, we have a large flock of very loud plovers in the estate that kept screaming past my window 6.30am we have our concrete truck arriving for our driveway, very excited to get that done. Appliances were supposed to be installed yesterday and they only installed the oven and microwave, if they turn up today to finish their install they won't be able to get to the gas metre to finish their install as the concrete will be getting poured around it, so we will be without our appliances and hot water again for another day viewtopic.php?f=31&t=89450&start=20 Re: Building the Hampton with Allworth Homes 212Feb 05, 2018 6:39 am Our concrete is poured. Our blinds were delivered and I installed all 10 blinds in one day myself whilst looking after the kiddies. And our tv antenna was also fitted today, so we can watch tv again instead of dvds Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅

Re: Building the Hampton with Allworth Homes 215Feb 05, 2018 10:46 am That's all coming along so well. You have a lovely sized backyard and the sandstone looks great too Re: Building the Hampton with Allworth Homes 216Feb 11, 2018 4:31 pm 11/02/2017- We tackled the backyard this weekend. Put in ag pipe, 3 cubic metres of blue metal and geo mesh around the house and alfresco to prevent water drainage issues also shoveled and smoothed out 6 cubic metres of turf underlay and need another 2 cubic metres to complete the job. Turf next weekend, pretty happy with how much we achieved ourselves in 2 days while looking after 2 toddlers All of our fence posts were set on Friday and panels to go in tomorrow I believe so I thought I'd get a couple more pics before that happened.
