Any builder using 25c doors with a 2c brick should explain this to customers especially when their display houses have 28c doors and 31c Alfresco. What they don't tell you in the early stages really annoys me. Re: Hilbert HGWA Build 104Jan 25, 2018 10:13 pm J278 My CL says it’s holding up the lintel used on the brickwork above the stacker doors. Oh well spose I’ll put something over it haha Yeh it's just bricks and mortar at the end of the day gotta hold those stacker doors in place. Re: Hilbert HGWA Build 105Jan 25, 2018 11:14 pm Bricks are complete! Roof timber delivery is booked for Monday and the roofie will start on Tuesday. Here’s some pics from today. The brickies have cleaned up around the site and inside, starting to look like a real home without bricks in the living area. Re: Hilbert HGWA Build 110Jan 31, 2018 2:47 pm I would safely estimate that you will have your roof and the progress invoice by the 9th Feb. Re: Hilbert HGWA Build 112Jan 31, 2018 10:13 pm Also during this time the sparky and/or TA will probably be cutting bricks and running cable before the roof goes on. Re: Hilbert HGWA Build 114Feb 01, 2018 10:40 pm Great progress on the roof, your gutters and fascia shouldn't be far away. Re: Hilbert HGWA Build 118Feb 05, 2018 11:00 pm J278 Choosy How is your roof coming along, got the facia on ? We went out yesterday and they had the eaves and facia on didn’t go out today, but excited to see it tomorrow Yay, hopefully roof by the end of the week 😁 Re: Hilbert HGWA Build 119Feb 08, 2018 12:28 pm How did your visit go, have they finished the electrical pre work ? Re: Hilbert HGWA Build 120Feb 08, 2018 9:32 pm Received an email from our CL today saying that by the end of the week gutters, plumbing and electrical will be done. She said the roof will be early next week followed by the white set, and then the ceilings will start the following week. Here’s some pics from our trip today. They’ve done the down pipes, gutters on one side and the electrical rough in. Also the garage ceiling is done too.
