Re: Hilbert HGWA Build 126Feb 20, 2018 9:49 pm What a great surprise, back on track again and looking good. Re: Hilbert HGWA Build 129Feb 26, 2018 11:24 pm You must be super happy, that is great progress in 1 week. Re: Hilbert HGWA Build 132Feb 27, 2018 12:02 pm Sounds familiar, I commented to hubby on the weekend that the next month will be a bit boring compared to the past couple of months. Looking forward to the next transformation after lock up. We added a vent into the WIR and one in the scullery to push airflow through to the laundry when the door is open. It’s main purpose is to keep my wine at the right temperature and ensure the wine fridge doesn’t overheat priorities Re: Hilbert HGWA Build 134Feb 27, 2018 2:57 pm The location will be cool even with the door shut, we have an internal WIL and it is the coolest room in the house, even the easter bunny has been known to hide goodies in there. Good to know as I’ve always been a bit worried that it would be hot and stuffy. It’s a little smaller than the display spec plan. It’s pretty dark in there at the moment how’s your WIL currently for lighting? We did opt for the glass door to hopefully let the natural light in Re: Hilbert HGWA Build 136Feb 27, 2018 9:15 pm The orientation of the house will affect that too. Ever been in a west-facing toilet on a summer afternoon? It's like satan's backyard in there. All of our toilets are internal so hopefully they’re cool too Re: Hilbert HGWA Build 138Feb 27, 2018 9:58 pm Yeah you should be fine then! Let's hope the fans do their job though haha Find my build thread here: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=88694&f=31&p=1729530#p1729530 Re: Hilbert HGWA Build 139Feb 27, 2018 10:08 pm J278 Choosy The location will be cool even with the door shut, we have an internal WIL and it is the coolest room in the house, even the easter bunny has been known to hide goodies in there. We did opt for the glass door to hopefully let the natural light in We use a light in the WIL as needed, it depends on time of day, the weather and adjoining room doors being open/closed. The glass door for your laundry is a good idea as it is room and should look brighter once the white set is done as your Scullery is about 1.5m from the fence.
