Site costs came in MUCH lower than expected, so we are really happy 😃 There were a few things that we picked up that needed to be fixed but all really minor, so contract documentation is now being prepared. Builder reckons that we could have a site start in about 6 weeks all going well, so fingers crossed! Re: Fairhaven Homes - Apollo in South East Melbourne 22Oct 20, 2017 5:31 pm Peach72 Sensational! Apparently building permits are taking approximately 3 weeks, and Fairhaven have told us that they are expecting to start this year, so fingers crossed no hold ups on that. Drove past last week and saw the Simonds one was at frame stage...they are flying! What stage are you at with yours? Re: Fairhaven Homes - Apollo in South East Melbourne 27Nov 03, 2017 2:35 pm Just done site cut 31/10/17 3 weeks for building permit - they were giving in 3 days some months back. Developer approval only took 2 days in my case follow my build Arden homes Votivo 37 iin south east: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=88622 Re: Fairhaven Homes - Apollo in South East Melbourne 28Nov 03, 2017 2:56 pm Oh that is fantastic news! I know permit turnaround times can vary quite considerably depending on workload (I work in the water industry so am a little familiar with all the processes) but 3 days would be amazing 😉 Re: Fairhaven Homes - Apollo in South East Melbourne 29Nov 03, 2017 3:00 pm Well congrats on contract and the water people should have taps very soon at their front yard - our main water taps only lasted a few weeks and then the thieves stole them - all the taps installed along Marshy - get in steal and quickly drive off policy follow my build Arden homes Votivo 37 iin south east: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=88622 Re: Fairhaven Homes - Apollo in South East Melbourne 30Nov 03, 2017 3:35 pm Yep, that really sucks...I work at one of the other water authorities and stolen meters are a real problem. We are at the point where all our new tappings have mandatory meter locks fitted at the time of installation in the hope that it discourages those types of thefts Re: Fairhaven Homes - Apollo in South East Melbourne 31Nov 11, 2017 11:18 am So have you got the developer approval follow my build Arden homes Votivo 37 iin south east: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=88622 Re: Fairhaven Homes - Apollo in South East Melbourne 32Nov 11, 2017 2:28 pm Not yet - only thing I can think is that the public holiday has set them back a bit. Planning on calling them next week if we don’t hear anything by Monday afternoon. Waiting is just annoying....hurry up and get everything in that is needed, then hurry up and wait again!
