Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 16, 2017 4:09 pm Hi all My builder suggest that I do roof sarking even though I have a tiled roof and not concrete. Could any of you advice if it is actually worth spending the additional 2.5K ? I have heard that it is more for colorbond and not concrete tiles . Thanks a lot in advance Re: Roof sarking on tiled roof? Is it actually worth it? 2Aug 16, 2017 4:11 pm I got it for my tiled roof, but it only cost me $740... and you need a whirlybird too, my builder gave me one for free because I had to have one for the standards. We ended up negotiating with the builder to get it included as an added bonus though as it wasn't included in the original spec. I wanted it on the off chance some tiles end up getting damaged in a storm or something.
