Can you help me with the preliminary stages of building in Victoria?
Am I right in saying that when you first approach a builder they quote you the house based on "X" type slab and then when they have done the soil test and slab design the hit you for any extras or give you a refund?
Do most or all builders ask for a preliminary deposit so they can do the soil test and slab design?
When do you know exactly how much you will be up for? Is that once you do the colour selection and work out what you want regarding power points, etc?
I've seen a lot of people mention tender stage, what is it?
What is included in site costs?
