Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Building with bellriver at riverstone 4Aug 15, 2017 9:36 pm Hi Guys I'm hoping to build with Bellriver at Riverston. Our land is still under development. I've got the tender from them yesterday. They have put 20k extra site costs in addition to the standard site cost. They haven't even done a Site survey/soil test etc yet. I asked, can this be changed after they do the proper survey. They are saying "It's a fixed tender" and won't change no matter what. Under the additional site works, They have put items such as; ~ Excavate, cut, and fill to level off house as required ~ Provide piers to Engineers instructions. etc. Is this normally how Bellriver works. Is the site cost actually fixed ? Thanks IK Re: Building with bellriver at riverstone 6Aug 16, 2017 9:14 pm Hi Sapl. This is not a House & Land Package. I've purchased the land first and went to BellRiver for the build. Made my initial payment of $1000 and requested the Tender. And got the Tender 2 days ago. I still have to accept the tender and sign the building contract. How about yours ? Thanks Mihira Re: Building with bellriver at riverstone 7Aug 17, 2017 8:24 am Okay, so you choose Bell river as your builders. I thought other way, I had a home and land package. Not sure about your case, probably someone who build with them will give more insight.. Good luck, BTW, where are you building? 0 2271 Hey guys building a new place through a volume builder and just wondering if i should complain to the site supervisor as we just had plasterboard installed.
