Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Coral Homes - Modified Grange 29 142Feb 22, 2018 9:53 am Our build is progressing well! Last week our roof went on and is looking great. This week we've had our external windows and doors installed, plumber and electrician did their rough in work. We added a rain shower in our ensuite at a cost of $200 with the plumber, and only stuck with the basics for our electrical work. Hubby went in yesterday and will be going back today to finish installing the insulation - we didnt realise what a HUGE job this was! And finally, tomorrow our walls start going up. I have the dumbest photos coz they're all on hubbys phone - so will post them later 😊 Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Coral Homes - Modified Grange 29 143Feb 22, 2018 9:59 am Looking good, oh the joys of insulation.... We thought it would take a couple of hours, 12 hours later we left the house... If you do it properly it takes a seriously long time but it will be worth it! We did have roof & wall insulation through Coral as we needed it for Basix in NSW but we did all internal walls too with acoustic insulation Re: Coral Homes - Modified Grange 29 149Mar 02, 2018 12:07 pm We have walls!!! Today they're sanding and next week the brickies start. We are getting plantation blinds in our lounge and master bedroom, so they're being measured up on Monday to be made. Re: Coral Homes - Modified Grange 29 153Mar 02, 2018 8:15 pm Would love to know how you go price wise with the plantation shutters as we are thinking the same thing for the front windows. Check out diyonline blinds - i found them cheaper than anywhere else. You can do an online quick quote for instant prices. For the 3 windows in our master, the 2 windows in the lounge and the main bathroom it cost 2.5k measured and fully installed Re: Coral Homes - Modified Grange 29 157Mar 04, 2018 2:45 pm Are they like that all over? I will have to wander past this afternoon to have a look. Re: Coral Homes - Modified Grange 29 158Mar 04, 2018 4:19 pm bestspecials Are they like that all over? Re: Coral Homes - Modified Grange 29 159Mar 04, 2018 5:02 pm Going for a walk now, so will walk by. Maybe they just need a clean. Hopefully. Re: Coral Homes - Modified Grange 29 160Mar 04, 2018 7:08 pm We didn't go in. That wouldn't be right. We stood up on the vacant lot behind and you can get a really good look from up there.
