Congratulations on your build. I have built Greenock modified 3 years ago (we got the keys 1 August 2014) and I am very happy with the work done. Good luck with it.

Good to hear that your build went well and you got a good product 😊 how long did the construction phase take for you? Re: Statesman, Greenock MKII 63Aug 03, 2017 5:52 pm Plumbing was done today and the rio was delivered. Average photos due to not wanting to go out of the car in the rain haha. The soil is getting pretty sludgey now so hopefully they get the slab done sooner than later.

Sarah159, It was 18.5 weeks from the slab to the keys. Very quick even though we were not under 18 week build guarantee. The preliminary works took a long time and the wait was frustrating at times but it all worked out OK. Very impressed that someone went out in that awful weather today! Considering there will be minimal - no rain early next week im thinking they may do the slab then. I find myself checking the weather forecast pretty often now haha 😁 Re: Statesman, Greenock MKII 72Aug 04, 2017 10:57 pm Yes same, we get a customer service consultant when we formally enter into preconstruction. We did not ask for info but get a call and dmail that updates us every time they do/receive something/something happens. Really good in regards to communicating Re: Statesman, Greenock MKII 74Aug 09, 2017 4:33 pm Hello Sarah I live around the corner on Bluestone Drive, I just stumbled on your thread, good luck for the build, we built with Statesman 3 years ago, Myrtle Alfresco. You had guys on site this morning preparing for concrete, exciting times, good luck with it all! Re: Statesman, Greenock MKII 78Aug 09, 2017 7:57 pm Yes it's a great floorplan, we flipped the home theater and bedroom 1 around. Statesman did ok, you get what you pay for really, home was built very quickly, felt like it was rushed a bit, got few cracks in cornices and ceiling appearing which could occur with any build, just the sh#tty Mt Barker soil we built on. 1 thing I regret I didn't check was garage depth, our garage is not deep enough and can only park a smaller vehicle. Re: Statesman, Greenock MKII 80Aug 09, 2017 8:29 pm Slab was poured first week December, frame and roof up by Christmas, completed and we moved in first week of April. Think all up 17 weeks. Super fast, great timing as my wife was heavily pregnant and we got in before bubs arrived. |
