Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Statesman, Greenock MKII 22Jul 31, 2017 7:44 pm We received an email from AGL today saying that we would be having a meter installed at some point and the cost is $543. Something I hadnt even considered, so I thought I would just mention it here incase other new builders hadnt budgeted for this expense 😊 Re: Statesman, Greenock MKII 29Aug 01, 2017 8:34 am For just scraping or all soil? We are charged $3500 (not including scrapings soil) thank you. I saw in contract it say that owner is responsible for connecting and supplying of water/gas/electricity. So asking for clarification on that as when wd signed we got told they arrange everything. Re: Statesman, Greenock MKII 32Aug 01, 2017 8:40 am Thats what we are thinking... we only got told we will have to pY for solar meter after handover as supplier has to change it... so no info on anything else! Really getting irritated anx worried with all this new things popping up costing a lot. Re: Statesman, Greenock MKII 33Aug 01, 2017 8:42 am House only 166sqm. Thats our thoughts too, 3500 for only footings doil and not scraping, thats why im asking them to confirm in an email. (Hope scrapings is included but according to sales rep its not) Re: Statesman, Greenock MKII 36Aug 01, 2017 8:48 am lovisa House only 166sqm. Thats our thoughts too, 3500 for only footings doil and not scraping, thats why im asking them to confirm in an email. (Hope scrapings is included but according to sales rep its not) i'm only at 159sqm and quoted $3365 for soil removal but nowhere does it define soil aside original contract just states "soil removal - to be advised after engineers report - PC item $2000 with the above variation boosting it to $3365 after report Re: Statesman, Greenock MKII 38Aug 01, 2017 8:53 am Entliza, yes ours went up after engineering as well. But was never told its only footings soil(untill engineers report faq's said it and then when we asked sales tep said oh yes its standard not to be included) Re: Statesman, Greenock MKII 39Aug 01, 2017 9:00 am Our pc was $2200 and then went down to $2000 after soil report, so maybe it has something to do with the type of soil. Possibly? Cant believe that wouldnt be included in a turn key home!! That is actually ridiculous!! |
